Did you know that May 13th is World Cocktail Day? The perfect opportunity to celebrate the art of cocktail mixing, meet up with your friends and try out new favorite drinks.

For our current spring and summer collection Mother Earth, we have therefore considered which drinks go best with our collection colors. Regardless of whether you prefer classic sparkling drinks, such as the "Wildberry Lillet" or want to try something exotic - here are our four recipe recommendations. You can mix all of the drinks as a classic cocktail with alcohol, or in the mocktail version without alcohol, but with at least as much flavor and refreshment!

1. Berry: Wild Berry Gin

A new version of the trendy drink Wildberry Lillet, which tastes at least as tangy and refreshing as the classic. Perfect for a girls' night or a romantic evening for two - just like our color Berry , a subtle splash of color on the dining table!

This is what you need:

  • 2cl (non-alcoholic) gin
  • berry mix (frozen)
  • 300 ml Wild Berry Tonic
  • 1/2 lime
  • crushed ice

Here's how:

1. First put the ice and berries in a glass, squeeze the juice from the lime and leave a thin slice for decoration.

2. Top up with (non-alcoholic) gin and wildberry tonic and garnish with lime. Cheers!

2. Petrol: Blue Lagoon Drink

Do you love intense colors and like to experiment in the kitchen as if you were in a chemistry lab? Then this cocktail or mocktail is just right for you: just as mystical and colorful as our color petrol .

Ingredients:

  • 1cl Blue Caraçao syrup
  • 2cl (non-alcoholic) gin
  • 300 ml lemonade
  • crushed ice

Mix everything together and serve on ice.

3. Taupe: Nutella Milkshake

Of course, we can't forget our chocolate fans! This creamy milkshake is the perfect refreshing dessert on a hot day and its chocolatey color is reminiscent of our harmonious color taupe!

This is what you need:

  • 2-3 scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • 1-2 tablespoons Nutella, depending on how chocolatey you want it to be 😉
  • 150 ml milk of your choice
  • crushed ice
  • optional: 1 cl Baileys to turn the mocktail into a summer cocktail
  • Toppings: whipped cream and melted Nutella

Here's how to make the creamy drink:

1. In a blender, mix vanilla ice cream, crushed ice, milk and Nutella.

2. Optionally add 1 cl Baileys. For the topping, melt the Nutella briefly in the microwave and decorate the milkshake with whipped cream and melted Nutella.

4. Aquamarine: (Virgin) Pina Colada

If you are already dreaming of summer holidays, palm trees and a light blue sea, then you should definitely try this exotic drink. With its light blue colour, it not only reminds us of the most beautiful beaches in the world, but also of our radiant colour aquamarine.

Ingredients:

  • 150 ml pineapple juice
  • 100 ml coconut milk
  • a handful of pineapple, frozen in pieces
  • 1 cl Blue Curaçao
  • for the cocktail version: 2 cl rum
  • crushed ice
  • fresh pineapple for decoration

This is how you bring the holiday feeling home:

1. First, mix pineapple juice, coconut milk, and frozen pineapple in a blender until smooth.

2. Then add Blue Curaçao (and optionally rum) and mix again.

3. Serve in a glass with crushed ice and decorate with fresh pineapple.

Cheers and happy World Cocktail Day!
