Winter is just around the corner - the perfect time to make your home cozy. With these DIY snowflakes made from cotton buds, you can bring a bit of winter magic into your home. They are quick and easy to make and give any room a cozy atmosphere. Whether on the window, on the Christmas tree or as a special eye-catcher on the table - these snowflakes can be used in many ways and create the perfect winter mood.

You need:

• Baking paper
• Hot glue gun
• Cotton swabs
• cord
• Scissors

How it works

Step 1: First, place baking paper on your table so that the glue can be easily removed once it has hardened.

Step 2: Put a small drop of hot glue in the middle of the baking paper and place six cotton swabs around it in a star shape to create a nice shape.

Step 3: Bend another six cotton swabs in the middle and attach them with small drops of hot glue between the already lying sticks to create a snowflake.

Make sure that all connections are glued and the snowflake is stable!

Step 4: After the glue has completely hardened, you can carefully remove the snowflake from the baking paper.

Step 5: Wrap the string around your snowflake – and your first snowflake for winter decoration is ready!

Decoration tip: Combine your snowflakes with our muslin tablecloths or muslin napkins for a stylish and sustainable table decoration. Alternatively, you can place cozy muslin sofa blankets and sofa cushions on your couch to create a particularly cozy winter corner in your living room.

Decorate your home and enjoy the winter atmosphere!

Have fun trying it out!
