You need:

  • Muslin napkins (the pictures show the color Eucalyptus )

Here's how:

Lay the muslin napkin flat on a clean surface and carefully fold the desired pattern. Make sure the edges are precisely aligned for a beautiful finish.

Instructions for the point fold:

The point fold is a classic choice for any occasion. It is quick to implement and takes any table decoration to the next level.

Step 1: Lay the muslin napkin flat and smooth on the plate to form a square with one point facing up, the opening facing down, and the other two points pointing left and right.

Step 2: Fold the individual layers upwards one after the other, slightly offset, to form a stepped triangle.

Step 3: Carefully turn the napkin over so that the folds are on the bottom.

Step 4: Grab the two outer corners of the triangle and fold them towards the middle.

Step 5: Turn the napkin over one last time so that the stepped tip is facing up - place it in the center of the plate.

2nd cutlery pocket

The cutlery pocket folding is a practical and elegant way to present your cutlery in style.

Step 1: Lay the muslin napkin flat and smooth on the plate to form a square with one point facing down, the opening facing up, and the other two points pointing left and right.

Step 2: Fold the first three layers of the napkin down one after the other. Tuck the second layer behind the first and the third layer behind the second. The last layer remains unchanged.

Step 3: Turn the napkin 45 degrees to the left so that the stepped folds run diagonally.

Step 4: Fold both sides of the napkin backwards - one side to the left and the other to the right. This creates a vertical rectangle with diagonal folds in which the cutlery can be ideally placed.

3. Christmas tree

The Christmas tree folding is a real eye-catcher on your Christmas table. It creates a festive atmosphere and is perfect for the holidays.

Step 1: Lay the muslin napkin flat and smooth on the plate to form a square with one point pointing down, the opening pointing up, and the other two points pointing left and right.

Step 2: Fold each layer downwards, slightly offset, one after the other to form a stepped triangle.

Step 3: Hold the napkin at the top in the middle and fold both sides backwards to form the shape of a Christmas tree.

Step 4: Fold the individual layers of the Christmas tree backwards so that straight edges are created and the shape of the Christmas tree becomes clearer.

Create a festive atmosphere with these napkins and make your Christmas table a special eye-catcher!

Have fun trying it out!
