So vegan baking is easy! On the occasion of Mother's Day on May 9th, we got into the kitchen and baked a very simple, vegan apple pie. It also tastes delicious and really works for everyone. Surprise your mom or yourself!
Ingredients for the dough
- 300g wheat flour
- 8g baking powder
- 75g sugar
- 80g sunflower oil
- 250ml apple juice
- 3 big apples
- 100g almonds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Here's how:
Step 1: Apples und Cut the almonds into pieces. Fry the apples in sunflower oil, add almonds, cinnamon & Add apple juice & simmer for 5 minutes .
Step 2: The tdry ingredients - flour, baking powder, sugar and cinnamon - to a mass < span data-contrast="auto">stir.
Step 3: Add the apple-nut mixture to the dry ingredients mix span>and to form a dough. Then in span>give a large springform pan & Bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees top/bottom heat.
The waiting time can be used to make the sprinkles.
Ingredient sprinkles
- 150g wheat flour
- 75g sugar
- 90g margarine
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Here's how:
Mix all above ingredients and knead into crumbles . The crumbles are then spread over the cake. Now bake the cake for wanother 15 minutes until the crumbles are golden brown. Let cool briefly & Serve.
Tip: Also tastes great with homemade cream or powdered sugar or both!
